What happened to our Av’s; Nuggets Rolling

Wow what happen in the game against the Canucks this past Tuesday. They were up by 3 after the first period lookin good all was looking like we were going to tie Vancouver for the division then the 2nd period started we exchange goals we’re still up by 3 then Samuelsson gets hot they score 2 more to end the period 3 to 4. We’re still up by one I’m thinking we can pick up the pace hold on BUT ouch they come back to win 4 to 6. Is Vancouver that good or did we just blow it. Probably a bit of both, Oh well in looking at where we are and where they predicted us to be we are still doing pretty darn good.

Nuggets are doing Fantastic and are a blast to watch Colorado teams are stepping up and standing out. Rockies are looking good in their preseason as well. Having a great time with Colorado sports. The pressure is going to be on the football team; you know the Broncos maybe with less drama things well settle down and they can get down to business.

How about those Nuggets

Since footballs over for season I’ve been watching our other pro teams and I must say the Nuggets are turning me into a basket ball fan. They’re down right fun to watch. They have been winning without Carmellow and looking good. J.R Smith had a bit of a drought but seems to be working his way out of it. The whole team is stepping up to the plate. With their win over the Spurs today they have now won 9 of their last 10 games WAY TO GO. In the Western Conference; Northwest division we are in 1st place by 3 games, keep this up and post season here we come. I’m looking forward to meeting the Lakers again but i feel this time it well end up differently. Keep up the good work we look forward to see’in ya in the post season.

The Avalanche are doin us proud as well They are second in their division; not bad considering they were all but written off at the beginning of the season.

In the mortgage world this could prove to be an interesting week and active week. we need to see if equities are going to continue their slide. Saved from post season embarrassment

Saved from post season embarrassment, probably we just had to go through the end of the season embarrassment. The Broncos had the average season that was originally expected just not in the fashion we had suspected. They might have done us all a favor if they would have lost a couple in the beginning and won a couple more in the end. I don’t know why no matter who the coach or who the players the broncos always have a way to make the good teams look bad and the bad teams look good, maybe it’s the altitude. All we know for sure is the seasons over for the Broncos. We can look forward to the NFL draft, should be pretty interesting this year what happens in the off season. Who is going to stay and who is going to go. I was pretty surprised Orton played as well as he did (to start) sort a fell week at the end, but i guess he got us through but was as average as team turned out to be. I think its pretty apparent we need a quarter back. Still glad we got rid of the whiner (his year turned out as he deserved). We still have the Avalanche who are playing pretty darn good and the Nuggets too. We all still can look forward to a grand New Year. Andrew Hahn

Bucks Trophy Lodge

The picture you see in my header is from a fishing trip to Canada that I am able to go on from time to time with a group of good friends. We fly out of Port Hardy up Rivers Inlet to a floating Lodge. Bucks Trophy Lodge it’s a great place, I have provided a link to their website, you should check it out and if you ever have the chance I would highly recommend this Lodge to all. Because Bucks is a floating Lodge say up in the back country when we leave Port Hardy you fly out in a sea otter as seen in the picture. The Lodge holds around 20 people so there are 2 of the sea otters and one 4 person Beaver that takes about a 45 min flight to get to the lodge. We always bring home a bunch of salmon and if you mouse over the pictures on the right side of the header you well see me with my big catch, a 145 pound halibut. That was fun and good. took me about 30-40 minutes to get him to the surface; had to play him for about another 40 or so minutes until the support boat could get there to help get him in; the boats we go out in are only 16 footers. Well if you have a chance visit their website and remember a bad day of fishing is better than a good at work. (sometimes a good day at work can be pretty rewarding as well)

Can we (The broncos) do to Indianapolis Colts what Cleveland did to Pittsburgh? Sure why not, well Pittsburgh is fallen apart right after we made’um good. I don’t think I would bet on this one, we have beat them before and it just feels like it could be time again; as long as we play like a team having fun. we can do it. Good Luck Broncos time to shine

OK then thats more like it, although the faith started to waiver a bit we know they have it in’um woo-hoo. Next they play Kansas and they seem to always be tuff when playing the Broncos although this year they really stink. Always fun but a lot more fun when we win. I’m thinking that we got the best end of the Cutler/Orton trade. Maybe Orton has found a breath of fresh air here and our team cam keep playing as a TEAM.

With that said I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and for those of you that are brave enough to get out and shop today heres to you i hope you get those great deals, I’m not brave enough to veture out to brave the crouds.

Where did the Broncos Go?

Well one thing about the broncos that hasn’t changed yet, and that they have always had the ability to make the good teams look bad and the bad teams look good and that was proven again this past week end. We should have beat Washington handily, regained some confidence and got back on track. But nooooooo we were beat and out played. Never thought I would worry about Orton going out he has in the past been streaky as it was in Chicago. But Chris Simms call your dad get some help, your paid to be ready to play; you nothing less than horribleand or is it the game plan to throw the 2 and 3 yard pass (although I thought our two down the field passes worked out quite nicely) as it is the San Diego game has me worried do we continue the downward spiral; San Diegos hot and we’re not. This game well show the true character of this team. Lets hope we pull it out look good and win, not barely, not by luck, but go in and play and look like the better team. Then the giants should be another game not easy but we should look like the better team. O’well better stick to one game at a time.

What about those Broncos

Whelp, they didn’t bounce back from the Ravens very well. They had’em in the first half too, they even held em after Ortons poor throw. This is or has been the problem with Orton he gets streaky; the question is, is this the new trend or can he shake it off and improve. It’s apparent he can’t throw down field, it’s not even in the game plan, but ya know I can live with it as long as they keep try to win. And that’s what really ticks me off whats with the put your tail between your legs and run the clock out at the half. It’s that absolute waste of an opportunity to TRY to get some type of score. They were even starting to move it down the field, and at the end of the game it just felt like they were beat so why keep trying. Now we have to see which team plays next week; the team that looked like they could go toe to toe and beat anybody? the team that just looked like they were having a good time? or the mediocre team that’s just lucky to be where they are at this point in the season. Is Washington Redskin game going to be a relatively easy regain our confidence type of game OR is it going to be a struggle to just barely win or worse. This game would have set the stage to rise to the top and prove most wrong and be a contender. Now the I told you so types are starting to out. Well we do know that they are going to win at least 6 games this season.
