We fly out of Port Hardy up Rivers Inlet to a floating Lodge. Bucks Trophy Lodge it&#8217;s a great place, I have provided a link to their website, you should check it out and if you ever have the chance I would highly recommend this Lodge to all. Because Bucks is a floating Lodge say up in the back country when we leave Port Hardy you fly out in a sea otter as seen in the picture. The Lodge holds around 20 people so there are 2 of the sea otters and one 4 person Beaver that takes about a 45 min flight to get to the lodge. We always bring home a bunch of salmon and if you mouse over the pictures on the right side of the header you well see me with my big catch, a 145 pound halibut. That was fun and good. took me about 30-40 minutes to get him to the surface; had to play him for about another 40 or so minutes until the support boat could get there to help get him in; the boats we go out in are only 16 footers. Well if you have a chance visit their website and remember a bad day of fishing is better than a good at work. (sometimes a good day at work can be pretty rewarding as well)</p>
